@KIN110UofR Racism is still an ongoing issue in sport even after historic events like Jesse Owens breaking the myth of white athletic superiority. Even in our current time, there are athletes earning respect by breaking stereotypes through performance, so why is it still a huge issue?

@KIN110UofR Regarding #leavingsport, one big reason for certain athletes is realizing difference in skill. I remember after being cut from basketball tryouts in my freshman year of high school, I left to focus on other sports.
