@AndrewKSchlecht I disagree, there were multiple stretches where our top POA defenders got blown by one on one. Very dumb fouls made in the fourth quarter and overtime. And we could not generate points out of their half court trap on Shai. Credit to the timberwolves, they fought harder.
@AndrewKSchlecht It’s obvious they saw how Aaron wiggins saved basketball last night and knew they had to shake things up to compete. Only answer that makes sense.
Earlier this week there was a incident regarding a fan of the Utah Jazz and Russell Westbrook of the OKC Thunder. The fan shouted racist slurs and threats towards Westbrook who ended up threatening the fan back, who received a lifetime ban while Westbrook was fined $25k. 1/2
@Jeanettekin110 That is a great point! In my experience with my friends growing up, i have found that most of the time both teams compromise and negotiate until they find a result that both sides see as fair. I could see it being different if it was a "free-for-all" type sport (tag for example)
@KIN110UofR I do think it possible for a child's parents to get a little too involved when spectating sports (The famous hockey parents) but i do not think it is a good idea to ban the parents from watching their children play sports #parentalbehaviour
@KIN110UofR In my own experiences the media has been the greatest socializing agent in my life. The media introduced me to basketball and now it is my favourite sport and hobby. Thank you 2004 NBA Dunk Contest! #socializingagents
@KIN110UofR Some graphs showing how little women's sports are covered by media sources. What should these leagues change or implement to get more viewers/media coverage? #Kin110
@KIN110UofR Chess Boxing is on the rise in Europe, this sports consists of 11 rounds alternating between playing chess and boxing. It started around 2003 in Germany and the athletes must be at least 17 to play! #culturalcontext
@KIN110UofR I think the biggest thing that differentiates peoples view on what can be considered a sport is their culture. Where as we are on the line of calling something like bull fighting a sport, in Spain they would think totally opposite
@KIN110UofR I feel a sport is an athletic activity that requires some form of physical component. I would argue that something like throwing darts can be considered a sport, it takes a lot of concentration as well as hand-eye coordination. I would not consider e-sports in this category.
