@instantkarma44 @Thang79918183@libsoftiktok It's not like left-handedness has grown. The amount of left-handed people has stayed the same, but the attitude towards handedness has changed -- no longer forcing children to write with their right, and telling them they're devilish for writing with the left.
@instantkarma44 @Thang79918183@libsoftiktok Is it because the lefties are pushing their handedness onto the righties? Forcing young children to write with their left hand? No! Society has simply taught people to write with whatever hand is comfortable and not worry about conforming to the right-hand majority.
@realJwalkerUW @annula6979 @Dictionarycom@RepClayHiggins 'ly' does not always turn a noun into an adjective.
Literal + ly is just used to describe a verb. It's basic primary stuff, ly = adverb.
"We're literally the dictionary" can be rephrased as "Literally, we are the dictionary." There is no grammatical error in using 'literally'.
