@TheHawksTruther @MikeBartner He’s not been a top pairing dman to date. He can move the puck sure, but his defense lacks a lot. On 2 teams now he hasn’t been able to find his was to PP time. IMO he’s a 2nd pair guy. Thank god for him having a good playoff huge win for Buffalo.

@broccolirn @PeteBlackburn Byram is a 2nd pair D man. He’s good but he’s not 4OA good. had a great year paired next to 2 #1 overall pics. But for north of $10 million a year that he’s going to get plus giving up the fourth overall plus other assets and taking on a cap dump. It’s a bad trade.
