BREAKING: Donald Trump's week gets off to a devastating start as the Biden-Harris reelection campaign announces that it has a staggering $117 million war chest — the largest sum for any Democratic candidate in history at this point in the race.

This is truly impressive and a total disaster for MAGA...

President Biden and Vice President Harris raised over $97 million in the fourth quarter of 2023. That number includes the campaign's own highly successful fundraising efforts as well as money from joint fundraising committees and the Democratic National Committee.

They took in an additional $71 million in the third quarter of 2023 and had $91 million in cash on hand then.

Additionally, the Biden-Harris campaign pointed out that much of their funding comes from grassroots efforts.

"This historic haul—proudly powered by strong and growing grassroots enthusiasm—sends a clear message: the Team Biden-Harris coalition knows the stakes of this election and is ready to win this November," said Julie Chavez Rodriguez, Biden-Harris campaign manager.

"Across our coalition, we are seeing early, sustained support that is helping us scale our growing operation across the country and take our message to the communities that will determine this election," Chavez said.

97% of donations were under $200 for an average of $41.88, indicating widespread support. Since the campaign launched, nearly 1 million Americans have donated. One third of those donors are new.

Given his skyrocketing legal costs stemming from his multiplying court cases, this is terrible news for Trump...

This latest debacle stems from a 2021 lawsuit that Trump filed against the newspaper of repute and three reporters after they published a bombshell, truthful story outlining Trump's years of tax evasion and financial mismanagement.

Trump absurdly accused the reporters of engaging in an "insidious plot" with his niece Mary L. Trump to obtain his tax records. The suit was ultimately dismissed because the report was protected under the First Amendment.

Since Trump wasted time and money pursuing the ludicrous case, he is now being forced to pay the costs.

"The fact that people think that government, does it really even do anything? And I’m like, ‘Oh my God, does government do everything for us.’ And we cannot take this democracy for granted. And sometimes I worry that we do," she went on.

"Those are the things that keep me up," she added, stating that there are wars "in too many regions" and that we have the serious problems of artificial intelligence, education, the effects of smartphone proliferation, and voter engagement to tackle..

Michelle Obama is absolutely correct. All of these issues are deadly serious — to say nothing of climate change — and with a lunatic criminal like Donald Trump at the wheel we could drive the entire planet off a cliff.

"The tone and tenor of the message matters. We can’t just say what the first thing that comes to our minds," said Mrs. Obama, an apparent reference to Trump's hateful stream-of-consciousness rambling.

"That is not authenticity to me. That’s childish, and we see childish leadership right before us — what that looks like and how that feels, where somebody is just base, and vulgar and cynical in a leadership position," she went on.

"It doesn’t trickle down well. That just begets more of that. I think we are obligated to model, for those of us that have a platform, because it resonates. And I want to resonate good. I want to resonate reason, and compassion and empathy," she added.
