Spring has sprung!

Today I visited the pollinator garden the first graders planted in the spring. It was full and gorgeous. The monarch butterflies were everywhere. I saw lots of ladybugs too. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Day 2 Tomato Weekend. 8 quarts of crushed tomatoes. 23 half pints tomato paste. 9 quarts tomato juice. Bonus 7 half pints pesto sauce. Tomato day officially done... only 365 days to tomato weekend!

Day 1 Midnight 20 quarts and 32 pints of Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce - DONE! Rest and onto to Day 2... tired and hot but so pleased. We sampled the sauce for dinner - so fabulous!
