Here they go, victim blaming. That is everyone’s go to these days. Support the victims and the way they decide to share (or not share) their story. The way a women dresses does not determine whether she deserves to be assaulted or not ! #SUsocialwork https://t.co/vdUV4V6o4x
@Caitlin_MSW2020 Definitely a good idea and a great start to something that has needed addressed for a very long time. I think this is wonderful, given the proper workers are provided proper training of course.
@nlaneSU20 So many questions unanswered. I am torn about this and I am not 100% on board with it. I understand the herd immunity, however, everyone is entitled to their own beliefs.
@Caitlin_MSW2020@jbjones10391 I agree ! We need to take care of our own before we aide other countries. We have starving, homeless, jobless, citizens here who need medical and financial assistance. It is so sad that we let these people in our own country suffer.
@Caitlin_MSW2020 This hits home for me right now !! It’s so sad the way the USA handles child birth and leave. I’m due in October and I’m struggling with how long I’ll be able to afford to be off.
This is the sad reality for black drivers. I have friends who are scared to drive just because of police brutality. I realize my privilege here and I am STILL hesitant around police or while driving. We need reform! #susocialwork https://t.co/fvQUqY3yEL
BASW student & leader of Moms for Mental Health, @JillianAmodio advocates for MD law to provide mental health days for students (HB0461), stating in an interview "Our mental health is no less important than our physical health." @DelegateATW #SUSocialWork https://t.co/1lciCJvWTE
This is awesome ! It reminds me of the excerpt we recently read for our assignment. Having a spokesperson who is living the life of what they’re advocating for.
