I don't agree with not quarantining simply because of missing school. Safety is everything, especially when these kids and their families are at risk. Hybrid should be an option in these cases. AACPS are still following strict guidelines #SUSocialWork

@Caitlin_MSW2020 I agree that this is definitely a good idea and that appropriate training is needed. AACO police has a CIT unit that is very similar to this concept (police & clinician pair) and it is very effective. The responders also need to be “in it” for the right reason. #SUSocialWork

@MollyFields_SU Definitely long lasting-effects because although they still had/have virtual meetings, most lack employment opportunities and were isolated to their home/recovery house. Face-to-face interaction does wonders in the recovery world #SUSocialWork

This is very similar to what the CIT unit of my job (AACO Crisis Response) does. It's so important to have a clinician paired with an officer in crisis situations and makes such a difference! #SUSocialWork
