Good to speak with Prime Minister @NikolPashinyan of Armenia. I congratulated him on his electoral victory, which is a clear endorsement by the Armenian people for regional peace and stability, as well as closer cooperation with the EU and democratic reforms. Armenia can count on The Netherlands’ support. We also discussed the peace process with Azerbaijan.

Just had a pleasant conversation with @presidentaz Aliyev of Azerbaijan. We agreed to further deepen the political and economic cooperation between our countries. We reflected on the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the Russian aggression against Ukraine.

I expressed appreciation for Azerbaijan's contribution to regional peace and stability. Finally, I thanked Azerbaijan for its assistance to the Dutch embassy team in Iran, which has been unable to work from Tehran over the past few months.

The Netherlands and Moldova work together closely in a variety of areas. Today I welcomed @sandumaiamd to the Netherlands to discuss and strengthen our ties.

Since the start of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, Moldova has been a key partner for neighbouring Ukraine and the rest of Europe. The Netherlands continues to support Moldova in this regard and therefore backs Moldova’s accession to the EU.

Today, we pledged €1.5 million in additional support for Moldova, with a focus on defence cooperation and strengthening Moldova’s cybersecurity and hybrid resilience.

Our strong ties offer opportunities for further growth, for example through collaboration in the areas of horticulture and sustainable energy. I look forward to working on this with President Sandu.

Today the Netherlands and 23 @OSCE participating States invoked the Moscow Mechanism to establish a fact-finding mission to assess Georgia’s implementation of its OSCE commitments. We have repeatedly expressed concern about the rapidly deteriorating situation in Georgia. 1/2
