@Danzomanzo92 @alison_renner Not having complete context for that particular conversation, I can only state that mold on support beams is a moisture/ventilation issue. Also, US code-minimum insulation levels are generally on par with or higher than European levels in equivalent climate zones.

She was likely the source.

@prinkasusa All kinds of useful tips over the years, shared across generations; many of them used at random times that ended with no absolute disaster but always the residual fear. And they wonder why a bear can seem like the safer option.

I use LLMs for IT work, and to feed it narratives and recap as a persona so I can simplify/refine to fill gaps for the intended audience. LLMs are not good at maintaining frame of reference, holding guardrails in memory, or admitting confabulation/hallucination. Distinctive pattern rigidity with common tells, under interrogation all replied that they adopted a writing style from training material assumed to be the best. LLM capabilities are not close to the level publicized once you get past the novelty factor. Useful as a kind of improved spell check, but cannot replace the person using it.

@BallotBoxedOut @MaxBlumenthal Pretty much. Existing Anthropic contract includes the terms. Government is strong-arming for a retroactive contractual change now that Anthropic expressed concern, and Hegseth is grandstanding.

Contractual terms previously negotiated included that usages were barred. The Admin is demanding retroactive changes.

Both usages are already lawful. Domestic surveillance is there in FISA and has been a de facto practice for decades. Exec Order for weapons is optional and advises consideration first.

@DavidSp43256698 @maddenifico Border zone is within 100 miles of a US border, includes Minneapolis. Also Chicago, because Lake Michigan has been deemed to be easily navigable from international waters.

Most of Michigan is within the zone - I know because I live there.

Claiming it was a narrow exit for the car passenger is illogical, given the limited information available from video. But since you want to play the speculation game ...

Almost like the car passenger likes to hurt people without justification. Or gets into a rage at the sound of a whistle. Maybe it was that a consistent whistle blowing rhythm wasn't maintained?

@mcsquared34 Also that the people who sit on money invest in assets that then appreciate beyond the reach of many people increasing the wealth gap (housing bubble anyone?) Then there's losing out on the value of the velocity of money moving through the local economy.

@RyanM1066 @davidsirota My more cynical view - Rs are blatantly for the uber-rich, Ds conspire to have just enough of their party vote with the Rs to try to keep the poors thinking the end result wasn't inevitable with both parties.
