We lost an absolute legend today with the passing of Coach Sooy. If you were lucky enough to truly know him, you’re a better person because of it. He was loved by so many people. Incredible coach, better man!! Prayers go out to Mrs. Sooy, Ryan, and the entire family.

Congrats to @TreyDrexler for being named a 2026 Ohio Mr. Basketball Finalist. This season, he averaged 26.5, 4 assists, shot 50% from the floor, 46 % from 3, and 85% from the line. Led us to a 19-3 regular season before breaking his hand. Not bad!

Never easy when your season ends but I’m extremely proud of our team. Most regular season wins in school history, 14-0 in GCC, and capturing a district championship despite Trey’s injury. Disappointed in the way we played last night but absolutely love this group. @BHSGoBigBlue
