@JoelEngardio NOW you claim you will “work with residents to ensure they have a voice…?” Sorry, but the time for that would have been BEFORE you cozied up to wealthy, anti-car, tech cyclists to close a safe, active 4-lane highway used by 100k people a week. Your gift to @sfbike is obvious.
It’s great to have support from a neighbor who uses the great highway on weekends regularly. Please read and share! This is very well written.

They don’t. The west side in particular does not suffer from a lack of parks. In fact, SF ranks among the highest according to ParkScore from @tpl_org Over 20% of the city is green space. @openthegreathwy
Hey everyone! Looks like Joel has an intern that wrote an opinion piece for the yes on prop K campaign for the chronicle.
Everyone please share. Let’s hope his parents vote the right way. No on Prop K.
@DrewMcWeeny Lynda was unique in that you always knew where you stood with her. Smart, honest, direct & hilarious. Some producers you tolerate, and count down the days until you don’t have to deal with them anymore. Lynda was a producer I LOVED and never wanted our campaigns to end.
@MHurabiell@openthegreathwy Someone named Laurence Delisle made a similar post on Nextdoor yesterday, saying how great it was that there were no issues with access, and encouraging people to vote for K. #NoOnK
@greenbergnation An abandoned road, which is exactly what the city will get if Prop K passes. Such a waste. Thousands of people being re-routed and delayed for THIS. Voting No on Prop K means everyone can continue to use the Upper Great Highway.
@lcwhitlock14 Exactly. I have an elderly family friend who cannot go there anymore due to her mobility issues. Upon the closure of JFK Drive, she told me “I’ll never be able to go there again, and that makes me sad.” Shameful that they would do this to seniors & the disabled.
Great to meet mayoral candidate @MarkFarrellSF yesterday and discuss his vision for San Francisco. Thank you for coming to our neighborhood and meeting with us about important topics like public safety! #SanFrancisco#Mayor
That you @incitafusio for your support for No on K!
While they have the special interests money, we have the power of the people and we will defeat this regressive bill 💪🤝

Congratulations to my friend and colleague @JustinCChang on winning the Pulitzer Prize in criticism! He is a brilliant writer, a world-class punster and most importantly, a good person. We often disagree but I still love reading him. Bravo! https://t.co/EedXElA4uP
Nice to see our DA @BrookeJenkinsSF at our community meeting tonight. She is so impressive, and gives me hope for our city. Thanks @JoelEngardio for organizing and including our police chief and local captain as well.
This will make you appreciate the brilliant @DAVID_LYNCH even more, if you’ve seen @thefabelmans - his portrayal of John Ford is nothing short of amazing.
🎂🥳 In memory of John Ford, born #OTD 130 years ago, we fondly recall his being interviewed by Peter Bogdanovich for the 1971 documentary DIRECTED BY JOHN FORD. 🤣 📽️
