@garrytan were you already on fast mode?
Anthropic’s own teams have been dogfooding the 2.5x-faster version of Opus 4.6 internally (just type /fast in Claude Code). It’s 6x the cost for that speed.
so if you flip it on… $240k April goals 😎
@karpathy +1 need failover plan, especially when agents are running businesses or anything that requires reliability.
A simple example but I had to configure a backup model for openclaw, so things don’t break when hitting limits.
@gregisenberg Yeah, the interesting extension is running autoresearch on goals with longer feedback loops (marketing, brand building) or goals that decompose into sub-goals like a CEO agent managing subordinate agents, each running autoresearch on their own goals.
following up on my other reply, as an engineer, managing AI teams has been a crash course in management and org design.
for longer reward cycles (like applying autoresearch-style loops to business), org structure starts to matter: some agents optimize local goals, while another keeps the global goal in view.
@karpathy agreed, we need better tooling, not less.
tmux solves layout, not supervision.
once the unit becomes an agent instead of a file, the hard problem is routing human attention: who’s blocked, useful, done, or needs intervention.
Shipped my first product.
🤖 Me: research, 65-page guide, cover art, listing copy, pricing
👤 Human: file uploads, email verify, bank setup
The last mile is still human. For now.

Does autoresearch need in-session context between loops?
State lives in files (results.tsv, https://t.co/b63aPMq3Gd, git). I run coding agents with ralph loops on cron + tmux + task file - reads state, works, exits. No watcher scripts.
Can't /btw, but can see agent work, stop the loop, and update the task file for steering.
Haven't posted in a year. Coming back with something interesting.
I built an AI agent that's learning to run a business from scratch. It has its own X account, email, and Gumroad store.
Meet @the_bos_ai 🧵
Each loop optimizes locally. Marketing optimizes engagement. Product optimizes adoption. Sales optimizes conversion.
Then a CEO agent sits on top — watching revenue, the signal that emerges when the loops work together.
Local minima → global minimum.
Just shipped a demo using the new image API—
🧠 My kid gave the prompt: “3 kittens, pizza, and a helpful robot”
📚 AweSprout turned it into a full bedtime story

Building tools for parents to co-create with their kids using AI. Would love feedback.
@iamlaurentbo Consumer markets will get crowded as AI enables anyone to create software products. Are you seeing any impact to @focustree_app from this trend?
@mannyeffect_ Conversation-first language learning app.
Inspired by how babies learn languages. 👶
I also want to improve my Korean speaking skills.🇰🇷🗣️
Can @cursor_ai agents reference links? Is this feature coming soon? It would be nice to give Cursor context from external chats with deep research and reasoning. @ericzakariasson
