Tragically, this is no surprise. Goa & the Manali Himalayas are full of damaged kids, ex-IDF conscripts, high as kites, trying to live with the horrors they have been ordered to commit & find ways to justify things they've done which they know deep down to be profoundly wrong
@CareFortis17151 You greed knows no limits. doctors who have no sensitivity to patients, dont bother to brief them after a procedure and then ask patients to book and pay for appointments to get their debriefing. pathetic, hope i never have to interact with them again.
The most pathetic hospital is @fortis_hospital specially @fortis_hospital Mohali. Other things apart you can see the condition of their room below where patient is kept for recovery after OT procedure... mould & waste waiting to receive sensitive patients post their surgery
....contd... Education and Healthcare need a different model, Private Equity certainly is not the right partner for these organisations (refraining from calling them businesses)!
Healthcare is such a broken industry in India as well (with own challenges). A large part of such negligence and lack of quality standards can be attributed to the private investors in these chains which are just pushing for growth and profitability. Education and Healthcare...
@HeyItsMegha Air India obviously... no one likes to be treated like 'bhed bakri' while boarding and no one wants to sit on wooden planks on the flight!!
@MyVadodara Next they are going to say is please sacrifice your sugar consumption... it's good for health and sugarcane juice is needed by the country to produce ethanol!!
Yesterday, I posted about my sibling’s petrol car getting stranded on the road due to a fuel pump failure. The company itself confirmed it was linked to a fuel blending issue related to ethanol.
But unfortunately, I had to delete the post because of immense pressure from higher authorities. For the first time in my life, I was forced to take down something purely out of concern for family safety and precautions.
The unfortunate truth is that whenever someone speaks up about ethanol-related issues, attempts are made to silence them. This may continue, but these problems won’t disappear and tomorrow it could be my own car stranded the same way.

@fnp_ind some consumer business should just not exist. Place an order on an ocassion, delivery after ocassion has passed & product delivered is different from what is ordered. Worst, no cups toner care number... if you can't provide customer service why run a consumer business?
Is India a Democracy of "Numbers" or a Democracy of "Progress"?
Today, April 17, 2026, the Bill to expand our Parliament to 850 seats was defeated. Why? Because performing states are terrified. Under the current system, if you control your population and grow your economy, you are PENALIZED with fewer MPs. If you fail to control population, you are REWARDED with more political power.
This is a "Democracy Trap." It’s time for a Performance-Based Representation Model.
1. The 50-30-20 Formula
We must stop allocating 100% of seats based on headcounts. A "Viksit Bharat" needs a scientific weightage:
50% Population: To keep the democratic soul alive.
30% GDP Contribution: To reward states that feed the national treasury.
20% Development (HDI): To reward states that actually educate their kids and provide healthcare.
The Impact (Calculated for 850 Seats):
Uttar Pradesh: Instead of jumping to 143 seats (pure population), they stay at ~110. This forces a focus on HDI and jobs, not just size.
Maharashtra & Tamil Nadu: They gain a "Performance Bonus" for driving 25%+ of India's economy.
Punjab: Grows from 13 to ~22 seats. Why? Because Punjab has a high HDI and a stabilization of population that the current system ignores.
2. The "True Empowerment" Women’s Clause
Don’t just reserve 33% of seats. Reserve them in the "Red Zones"—the districts where the female-to-male ratio is the worst and female literacy is lowest.
The Rule: If a state wants to unlock those seats, they must prove they are saving and educating girls. One year before every election, use the latest population ratio report to decide the quota. No progress = No power.
3. The Sustainability & Population Bonus
Population Control: States that meet the replacement level (TFR 2.1) get a "Responsibility Weightage."
Pollution Neutralizer: Add a factor for environmental performance. States like Punjab and Haryana that lead in agriculture must be incentivized to solve stubble burning through representation rewards, not just fines.
The Hard Truth: Politicians will hate this. It is easy to win on raw numbers; it is hard to win on RESULTS. But if our leaders are true Desh Bhagats, they must move beyond their personal seat-math.
We are at a crossroads. Do we want a Parliament that rewards Quantity or one that demands Quality?
The 131st Amendment failed today because it lacked this vision. It’s time to rethink the map of India.

Dear @SEBI_India
Please end this KYC hell. I own a handful of PSU bonds, paid for from my already KYCed bank account. Interest has been received in the same account all these years. My PAN, using which I have paid taxes for 30 years, is registered with them and when making the investment.
How many times do we have to prove who we are? Just look at how much paperwork this involves. Also, why should I hand some RTA a copy of my bank statement?
Stop this madness, please.
No wonder these fires break out, I have complained 3 times in last 4 days of gas leak/ smell at my place but there has been no visit/ check by the company!#indianoiladanigas#adanigas Natural gas pipeline catches fire on Sector 36/37 road https://t.co/HMTdezSfT3
Ladkahi woman tells a media person-
"Where were you when we were protesting peacefully? You came a only when the tamasha started."
The media is supposed to raise issues of the people. But Indian media has become a sarkari bhonpu.
Car24 team recently did a test of mileage drop after using E20 petrol in a 2015 model Maruti Dezire.
Here are the results;
E0 - 22.2 km/l
E20 - 14.5 km/l
They also witnessed engine noise, reduced AC cooling and pickup.
Gadkari can lie whole day but he can not hide the facts.
Jwala Gutta: I checked my name online 2-3 weeks ago, my mother's&my names were there, my father's&my sister's were missing. Today we went to cast vote but my name was also missing. I don't understand how's my name missing. I've been living here for 12 yrs. #TelanganaElections
One the richest, most powerful & well connected businessman in the world is fighting small independent you-tubers. A man who owns one of India's biggest media conglomerates is discovering that news content creators with one camera - broadcasting from one room - have one thing ....that money cant buy.
During India's First Emergency (besides the notable exception of @IndianExpress) - it were the smaller independent publications that stood their ground & gave Indira Gandhi a tough time. Publications like #Himmat & #Pratap didn't bend despite hundreds of journalists being sent to jail & courts being a mute spectator.
Today, 50yrs down the line - as history repeats itself, we at @thedeshbhakt are proud to keep that tradition alive along with a select group of individuals. The tradition of questioning people in power & not bending to money & muscle.
On the 16th of September - a Delhi Court passed an ex-parte injunction order against nine journalists & organisations (including @paranjoygt & @t_d_h_nair) who had been regularly reporting on Adani.
While such orders have become mundane in New India - what set this apart was a 'John Doe' on the 10th defendant. This basically allowed Adani to make a list of people that IT THOUGHT was making 'defamatory content' against it - these people were not even NAMED in the defamation suit.
Now independent youtubers & publications such as @ravish_journo, @ajitanjum, @newslaundry, @dhruv_rathee, @abhisar_sharma and yours truly have been given 36 hours to delete over 200 pieces of content - without any opportunity to contest this order.
Whatever your political leanings may be - know that this is now beyond politics and this silencing will impact everyone.
We take this move as a compliment and this is testament to the power & credibility that small independent Digital Publications have been able to garner. We thank each and every member of the Deshbhakt family for their trust and support.
We do not know when OR IF the higher courts will reverse this alarming order - but we will carry on our mission to punch up, question everything & fight for our Democracy.
As for the legal angle - there is a laundry list of businessmen who tried to silence journalists using the courts - usually it didn't end very well for them.
