That's the free market at work. If there was nobody here illegally to take the jobs for less than market value farmers would have had to pay more, change working conditions, and give real benefits. Having illegal labor isn't fair to either set of workers.
True, but my guess is that anyone who didn't take their luggage has been told, "Sorry, we can't return it to you because of smoke damage- legal reasons, I'm sure you understand, but you will get a check for $18, all we're legally required to compensate you, in eight to twelve weeks." 😀
@thehealthb0t Yeah, lots of 'thinkers' want the ability to regulate life itself, which is just another way of saying they want to say who lives and who dies, and hint- it's usually not them who die.
@GnosisWolf Yup, standard high beam switch was a small, round, foot operated switch on the upper left part of the floorboard- well away from the clutch pedal, which I'm guessing you've never seen either 😀 I'm guessing makers started switching to the tree mount in the '80s or so.
