Telltale sign of AI writing is moving from em dash to colon as more people 'teach' claude/chatGPT to avoid the em. AI still reverts to complex sentence structures with more punctuation than humans would generally use
Isn't Anthropic just eventually going to keep raising pricing until it's say 1/5 of developer cost if you're able to replace entire people/teams with a subscription? Why wouldn't they
@thebenstevens@heartandsoilHQ Completely agree. Perceived or label benefits give the consumer the 'permission' to enjoy a category they love.
My view is that this is happening across categories. But I think you're right that it's esp across bevs.
I wrote abt it here: https://t.co/57ynitpZp1
@damccormick13 Dan - congrats on your launch and all your success. I wonder if it would make sense to sachetize a creatine + electrolyte product down into even smaller doses? (say 1g creatine + 1/5 dose electrolyte). So you can sip on something healthy throughout the day (5x the consumption!)
“Reading after a certain age diverts the mind too much from its creative pursuits. Any man who reads too much and uses his own brain too little falls into lazy habits of thinking, just as the man who spends too much time in the theater is tempted to be content with living vicariously instead of living his own life.” — Albert Einstein
Latter is terrible at following conversational instructions with switching contexts over time, making it difficult to use for any sort of 'running' projects.
Have found that ChatGPT is way better than Gemini at working on longer, iterative projects that require reading and understanding multiple documents and inputs, and creating multiple editable output files. Latter simply cannot handle any sort of continuous context.
However Gemini's tools are 'stronger' for very specific instructions and contexts (nano banana if you want to conjure a very detailed image based on specific inputs, for example).
There is still plenty of iteration and rapid prototyping at the lab and pilot level, but once you have made a directional decision to scale it is usually expensive to switch
But to achieve the type of scale ITC/Balaji/Haldiram/Marico need you’re better off targeting the onramp first - make the product incredibly tasty, affordable, and then see how much protein you can fit while still meeting those two criteria
