Zeev Buium will make his NHL debut in Game 1 for the Wild — making him the first Israeli citizen to ever play in the NHL 🇮🇱

While Buium was born and raised in the United States and represents the USA in international competition, both of his parents were born and raised in Israel, giving him dual citizenship. So while he won't be the first-ever Israeli developed NHLer, he'll be the first Israeli NHLer.

He was drafted 12th-overall by Minnesota in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
