I manage to squeeze in a new Quality of Life improvement for the next update. It addresses an age-old problem: Link rot.
I add a new “Time Travel” button to the in-app browser in case you run into dead links you previously bookmaked.
I’m excited to announce my new app: Mona for Mastodon, a Mastodon client for iPhone, iPad and Mac, powered by the same amazing features of “Spring for Twitter.” A preview version of Mona will be available to Spring customers soon. https://t.co/uUsAKNLbf2
The Packers (4-8) currently hold the No. 9 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and are one game back of the No. 2 pick (the Bears, who are 3-9). Packers at Bears next Sunday.
I want to see more of Jordan Love. After tonight, I figure the Packers' brass want to, too. Your playoff aspirations are pretty much at the bottom of the ocean; there's not going to be some miraculous run where you sneak into the playoff dance. Give your investment the reins.
A lot of people don’t seem to understand why going 5-7 in Jedd Fisch’s second season is a big deal, so let me break it down for you in a thread.
Fisch took over the program just after the winless pandemic-influenced season in 2020. The program was gutted before Fisch took over
@JShell085@EconTalker@AgnesCallard Which is why I often “never have an hour free” in the first place. I always have something to do that’s important and that needs doing. Something that at the end of the hour I can feel positive about having done. But it’s not leisure and it’s not restful.
The COVID symptoms did not subside by Saturday. But I did feel betterish on Sunday and am almost symptom free today. Call it 3½ days of symptoms?
I'll still be isolating to protect everyone else, but at least I don't have to feel rotten while doing it.
On Wednesday evening, I started feeling crappy. On Thursday morning, I really felt crappy. By evening, my wife suggested taking a COVID test. Surprise: positive!
I think I got it from my daughter, who had identical symptoms. Hopefully they subside by Saturday.
I'm reading Stephen King's latest (?) book, FAIRY TALE. I'm on page 213 of 600 and I'm still waiting for the story to properly get started. He fills pages with detailed descriptions of events that probably don't need to be included at all.
Tomorrow’s goal, while I’m stuck in our COVID quarantine room (aka, a room with a Corsi-Rosenthal box to filter the air) is to watch the final episode of FOUNDATION and then to start a new show or season of a show. Maybe FOR ALL MANKIND s3? Maybe SEVERANCE or HOUSE OF THE DRAGON?
Hedging my bets and setting up Mastodon accounts.
