Why Body Fat Location Matters
The fat you can pinch and the fat stored deeper in your abdomen are not the same.
Where body fat is stored can matter for your health, especially for women over 40.
Visceral and subcutaneous fat have some significant differences.
It’s hard not to compare myself to other people.
Sometimes I look around and feel like I should be much further along by now.
But then I remind myself:
My circumstances are unique.
My responsibilities are different.
AND…
My path is my own.
Eerything I’ve experienced has shaped who I am and what I have to offer.
So I keep going.
Because someone may need exactly who I am, what I know, and what I’ve been through.
Maybe you need this reminder too:
You’re not behind.
You’re living a life that can’t be measured by someone else’s timeline.
Keep going.
"On the days you only have 40%, and you give 40%, you gave 100%."-Jim Kwik
As a mom, this quote spoke to my heart.
Some days I'm exhausted. I may not have the energy to give my best effort but still give my all.
And that's the difference.
My capacity isn't the same every day.
Some days I have more to give.
Other days, I'm running on fumes.
But my family will always get whatever I have even if it's all that I have left.
Motherhood is not easy, but I feel blessed that God has given me the honor of being a mom.
