Don't buy a program.
Don't add more interventions.
Don't spend additional money.
Don't look at new curriculums.
Want to get learners where they need to be?
Do bring staff together.
Do decide on common beliefs & practices.
Do redesign Tier 1 with impact built-in.
This works.
5 Things to Remember This Week:
1) You are stronger than they think.
2) Your heart is bigger than they know.
3) You have more in you than they can see.
4) Your positivity is greater than their negativity.
5) You are more powerful than their opinions.
"The more we try to stay comfortable today, the more uncomfortable we'll be tomorrow."
@GaryJohnBishop
What will you do today to challenge your comfort zone?
We all have goals or dreams, to achieve them we must have positive self talk. To succeed you must be willing to put in the work, no one can do it for you. This new year, say “I am willing” and achieve your goals. @GaryJohnBishop
As a leader, one key to help team members resolve problems is to have them reframe their problem and recalibrate themselves so we can focus on what truly matters and resolve the deeper issue. #12daysummit@casas_jimmy@BirdvilleNest
Treat people right. Appreciate them, encourage them, support them and make them feel like they matter (because they do). Do this at home, at work, at school, at the store, etc. Do this with people you know and people you don't. Try your best every day to make someone else's day.
@JonGordon11 Sounds like a great gift for my girl as we traverse the waters of blending two families together. Starting our new journey will take GRIT.
To be a positive leader, you must be willing to address the negative issues so you can build a positive culture for all staff. Loving Tough @JonGordon11#12daysummit
@PastoralKaty The key is to make the detention fit the needs of the child. If they need punitive, then just assign detention. If the behavior is due to low academic, make the detention a tutorial period. S still see a consequence, but the child is getting assistance.
