I never tire of pointing out that Minnesota is #1 in voter participation.
A new report from the respected & non-partisan @NpVOTE explains in part why MN is a national leader. We have good laws, but we can do even better by adopting reforms like Automatic Voter Registration.
If Iowa can restore voting rights to those who have left prison behind, then so can we in Minnesota. It’s the right thing to do. And it’s bipartisan. Let’s join the growing list of states who have embraced second chances by extending democracy.

There's no good reason to require public disclosure of Minnesota voters' political party preferences, but that's what will happen in the 2020 MN presidential primary unless the legislature acts next year. Voter privacy should be respected and protected.
