@ccfc_07 Recalling the '80s, Everton fans recall the Kevin Brock backpass at Oxford that kept an under pressure Kendall in post, leading to a period of unparalleled glory. Fear the 'Rudoni' will be our equivalent in other direction...
@LoubinWally Somewhat ironically I follow the Fergal O'Brien racing feed on Twitter and notwithstanding their landlord, they appear a very progressive, enlightened and witty bunch. Hard to fathom.
@cyrilleregis@Coventry_City I was actually a Coventry fan in the home end (can't remember why). Lost 3-1 but played well. Think Lloyd McGrath picked up a caution that meant he'd miss the Stoke Cup tie.
@icelandcricket Remembering the Sabina Park Test that was called off after half an hour cos of the dangerous pitch with ENG 20/3 or something. Alec Stewart's 10 not out or something was special in the circumstances (if memory serves)
@legsidelizzy Even as a Bears supporter I'm embarrassed that we could win zero and survive. Football worked out 45 years ago that 2 draws are worth less than 1 win and have never looked back.
@bbctms 30 overs a session. Second session starts 1.30pm regardless when first ends. Final session starts 4pm ditto. Spectators should see 90 overs for their money.
@DanNeidle I'm expecting the flip side to apply to, whereby VAT on school fees won't necessarily increase school fees. Schools will just retain less and price their product according to what the market will bear.
