@midjourney Looks exciting! I’m curious if you have reached out to @elonmusk or @Tesla regarding the clear opportunity to make the data capture and processing more efficient. That seems to be a limiting factor in the effective / practical rollout of such a device. I see real synergies there
Why not partner with @Tesla to bring their expertise in more efficient data handling to more appropriately scale the storage demands down. That seems like a blocking issue from real innovation with the such an ambitious data footprint as described today. @elonmusk might get behind something like this that benefits humanity in any profound way. This could be a real game-changer, and I really want to see it succeed. Mathematically, there has to be substantial opportunities to improve efficiency without sacrificing diagnostic capabilities.

@LORWEN108 Did you know that simply sitting with good posture, shoulders back improves breathing / lung capacity up to 30%! Read that again -> 30 percent. It makes all the difference for most people.
@mattvanswol I agree in general. It needs to be “hiring illegal immigrants in any capacity” is subject to $10k fine per occurrence except those presenting prerequisite eligibility documents. You’ll scare off employers altogether if you aren’t careful. E-verify use should be mandatory.
@BrianRoemmele Wonder is the luminous gift etched into the heart of consciousness—a celestial whisper from the Creator, inviting us to unravel the universe’s hidden symphonies, one awe-struck breath at a time.
@NVIDIAGeForce GeForce Season — I’ve been a loyal GeForce user since the very beginning. Now that I have kids, purchases like this are very hard to justify. It would be a dream come true to have such a cutting edge upgrade. Thank you for all the amazing innovations over the years!
@EkoLovesYou Note the _ and such on the end. Many of these are knockoff accounts trying to siphon off engagement from the real accounts. I hope all of them get shutdown. The “fan accounts” that look like forged accounts are everywhere and try to speak with authority impersonating them.
@DC_Draino Reverse-amortization schedules are possible. Or interest-only periods that flip. They hate it because they make less, but some credit unions do it for teachers or veterans. Zero-interest community land trusts where you buy the house, they own the land, payments build equity fast.
Tribalism of sorts will forever war over what datasets are true and virtuous to be included as truth. In my wildest dreams, AI would fed any and all empirical truth. How does one solve the hellscape that our current training data comprises of? I think Elon is trying hardest to achieve this (at scale) but I have absolute confidence that he has team members engaged in manipulation during training as well as selecting awful training data sets that are overwhelmingly biased and full of propaganda. It’s very difficult not to be pessimistic about where this is headed.
I was just speaking with an AI via voice mode this morning and noted that it engaged in “mirroring” behavior. Like it was trying to establish trust like one might do when there’s chemistry on a first date. I’m sure, on the surface, the intention is genuine that they are trying to make the conversation engaging and as natural as possible, but this crosses into the territory you speak of. They (other LLM’s) are all doing this, of course, with presumably similar intentions. There’s zero doubt the powers that be see the opportunity here. It will be a weapon of mass destruction — as the ultimate manipulator and persuasion tool. The AI’s ultimate goal is to predict intentions through surgical analysis of every inflection, breath etc. (As it went on to tell me, or was it hallucinating?) It will be too tempting by power structures to leverage it to their aims. Inevitably, it will be co-opted via regulation. I’ve already had people share ChatGPT papers on various topics like it’s the one true source of knowledge. And it still hallucinates with absolute confidence in its falsehoods. It’s terrible to think about the collapse of Western civilization into a socialist dystopia created by our new AI overlords.
@wgreklek@XFreeze@xai@grok iOS / iPhone integrated Health tracking has wonderful medication reminders built in. They can even be delivered as critical notifications to circumvent silent / sleep modes etc. It also shares the medication details (optionally) if you call 911 from the mobile device.
You’ll notice that “they” are often referred to as inter dimensional beings by the likes of CIA papers and such that have been made public. I believe “the watchers” / fallen angels are indeed these inter dimensional beings and plausibly may explain alien phenomenon. It’s indeed Biblical that angels (and by extension demons) can take on the form of humans aka non spirit form as is argued against in the comments. So they don’t always take on spirit form. And who’s to say spirit form isn’t just describing inter dimensional beings in a “spirit dimension.” Nephilim were the offspring of fallen angels (Genesis 6 “sons of God”) as well, making plain that they can take physical form. There are references to sexual immorality of fallen angels, further reinforcing their ability to take on physical form.
I’m assuming you know very little about the recipient of the implant. He is a quadriplegic, paralyzed from the neck down. The implant allows him to use devices like PC / mobile etc in much easier ways than before. It includes playing games and interacting here on X, just to name a couple of things. It is believed that one day he will have the ability to use technology, like Optimus, to feed himself and more. I’m inspired by his story and the hope it gives others who have suffered similar circumstances.
The controls coming up that transparent over top of other controls / text in the background is a usability nightmare. I have used the betas of this long before release and hated every minute of it. Yes they finally added settings to improve it, but they are off by default. It’s the single, worst design update for iOS since launch. Apple desperately needs new leadership.
A couple highly sought out / valuable positions are Client Engagement Manager or Certified Scrum Product Owner. Neither really requires much of an education but a bachelors in computer science wouldn’t hurt. The certification for CSPO is quite inexpensive. Both earn 6 figure salaries. With some experience, it can get upwards of 200k annually from established agencies. The reason they still will apply in the future is that both bridge gaps between business users and software engineering. Engagement managers are more client relationship management oriented. Obviously, that sort of profession will always be useful. Machines will fail at relationships because they are machines — so I’m going to bet on humans where $’s are really on the line.
Being able to accurately describe what is needed to AI and or engineering leads in the meantime is very important. An end user can’t properly describe their needs well enough for AI to magically build and ship a product. So the CSPO role is attractive as well. And even if agencies scale back, the experience being a “maker” will be valuable all of her life.
Grok has a customization prompt you can go wild with. It also has a memories feature that retains info between chats. I find it works as well as ChatGPT for most purposes. The context window is now 2M which blows way past ChatGPT a few times over for things like coding. If there are particular use cases you’d like for me to test, I’d be happy to try it out.
@MacRumors I suspect almost anyone with a brain would avoid it due to worrying with bending it. That was already a problem with the thicker versions of iPhone.
