I want to believe @AndrewMwenda but doing so also requires that I conclude that MK doesn’t write the things on his X account. But he has never denied writing them! How are we supposed to believe that the person who, almost consistently, tweets conspicuously unwise things is very intelligent? How do we accommodate the contradiction that a room is both empty and full at the same time!

Like @nickopiyo , I’ve never met or listened to the man debate anywhere. So, I only judge by what he selects to put out here on X and in his recent short read speeches (which I imagine he takes his time to think through before sharing). To his compliment, his tweets are often very well written- hardly any careless language mistakes, and well summarised. But that’s often all there is. Perhaps he could surprise us with a non-scripted interview on national television, just one, of about 1 hour, being asked random questions that require reasoning and EI. We could be very wrong. Perhaps the X character is a malignant impersonator. Perhaps it is us who are not intelligent enough to see the great wisdom in the man’s tweets.

My plight as a Medical Doctor @SAS_Clinic (SAS CLINIC)

I am Dr Jacob Otile fully registered member of UGANDA MEDICAL AND DENTAL PRACTITIONERS COUNCIL, Reg no K8734 with an active annual practicing license

July/1st/22, I was recruited to work as a medical doctor at SAS CLINIC on full time contract running 16 duties a months paying a sum of 2.3m shs monthly, this money was only paid (July & august 2022) after having initially been on parttime from May/2022.

Dry spell hit when there was no money being paid (NOT FOR ONLY ME but OTHER STAFF as well) from September to December 2022 even with constant engagements with both the clinical head & the CEO

Last discussion with the clinical head in Dec/2022 was that I resort to Locum/Part time work which is paid per duty worked so as to give the hospital time to clear my arrears amounting to a total of 9.2m Ugx

So in Jan/2023, I started working only Thursdays and Fridays but still even the locums would be paid after 2 or 3 weeks after you have worked, contrary to our negotiations, but still coz I value engagements & negotiations I still constantly engaged the clinical head & continued working, meanwhile my pending 9.2m shs wasn’t being paid.

In Jan/20th/23 i instructed a law firm to write a demand not with intentions to sue & on reciept of the letter, the CEO & Clinical head start panic calls to try & negotiate & yes ignorantly i still bought it & told my lawyer let me see how they hold their side of the bargain.

Weeks later, no money was paid and i further made known to them that whatsoever they were doing can lead to reputition damage for the hospital and i can ably orchestrate that, but was willing to listen to them if a deposit of 4.6m was made but all were adamant that they would pay only 1m shs at the time.

After realizing how serious i was they paniced & mm of 4m reached me in minutes & this time the clinical head being someone who i so much hold in high regards as a senior colleague and a christian came forward to apologize to me and reassured me that all these would be sorted asap.

Its been 2months since that mm came to My phone, but again i continued dialogue with both the CEO and we finally agreed the money would be paid FULLY to ZERO balance (Phone call conversation) by 20th/March/2023 without fail.

Meanwhile i continued to work on part time basis with no known future at the hospital not until friday 10th/March when i did my last duty and wasn’t paid the part time money i was demanding for 2 weeks so i decided to inform the Clinical head and manager that they should allow me step aside off duty untill issues of payment is resoleved.

5 days to the due date, i reminded the CEO about the deadline of payment & he acknowledged it thinking all would be sorted

It is on the due date that NONE of them was picking my calls, not until late evening when i text and the CEO starts giving excuses of being in a meeting and only will get me what he has managed to get 😱

Interstingly they do not pay NSSF etc & yet they are a private entity and yes i am a victim of the same

So i have decided to share this because i see so many Doctors in Private facilities being taken for a ride and not being paid and it is a shame that our fellow Doctors are so much behind it like in my case

Well, as i talk i have missed several deadlines for various scholarship/FinancialAid oppprtunities that needed money to apply for and would fund my costs of living, health insurance etc while in The United states come August 2023, I haven’t even talked about my family obligations espacially school fees and tuition that i had to incure loans thinking i would get cleared on time but in vain.

This was the last thing i was hoping to do & i made sure my bosses knew i would do this at some point but kept it under negotiations since September/2022 todate, I am Hoping i can get justice for the damages caused but also not only for me but the rest of the other staff suffering as employees at the hospital ✌️

There is a lady who seats in this office @Makerere’s senate building. @ProfNawangwe if she does not need this job let her leave office to someone eager to work. From 9 am she closed her office, comes in, goes out. No one attended to. We have chased for documents 2 weeks straight.
