I think what we're seeing here is a lot of tree pruning across the government. The result of this pruning is actually going to help the very people who are most concerned.

When you prune a tree, you're removing dying and dead branches, branches going in the wrong direction, water sprouts and suckers - all of which consume the overall energy of the tree. The result and purpose of pruning is to re-direct energy & resources to the more important & more desired branches, making them more effective and efficient.

The people who REALLY need government programs are the trunk of the tree and the main branches. They are the ones that will benefit most from what is going down in DC right now. Since the topic here is Medicare/Medicaid, this will only make the program stronger and those who really need the services, in my opinion, should be cheering them on passionately.

I’m damn proud of Sophie Cunningham. Standing for the National Anthem with her hand over her heart shouldn’t take courage in America, but apparently it does.
