@mtamaryland The 700am train has been sitting at NoMa waiting for a track for 10 minutes. Yet it has disappeared from the MARC tracker as arrived. Arrived how? Passengers are still sitting on the train and it isnt at a platform?

@mtamaryland First it was five minutes. Now 15. Meanwhile there are at least seven MARC trains sitting at the platforms in DC.

This 536 Penn is a mess @mtamaryland - 2 trainloads of people crammed in one train. Is there a reason boarding wasn't halted when the seats and aisles were full? Still sitting at station plus making all local stops. Not a promising start. My guess: home ~ 40 minutes late.

Dear @mtamaryland - in the last month I have ridden the train appx 40 times (to and from work). Less than 25% have arrived at the scheduled time. Apologizing for the inconvenience is really not useful. Being somewhat reliable would be.

Even better, the MARC tracker does not show us as delayed or even on the tracker. Because by its measure we have arrived? Every single passenger would disagree since we are still sitting on the train and won’t hit a platform until we are at least 10 minutes late. @mtamaryland

Can @mtamaryland explain why train 642 left the station only to sit in the train yard for 15 minutes, stopped and sat again? Why bother to leave other than to pad your on time departure metric? Functionally 15+ minutes late. Again.

@mtamaryland Really failing lately. More delays. Waited until a train was supposed to depart to announce it would be delayed, no other info. Some riders would’ve taken Camden if they’d known.

Departed late. Then sat in the tunnel for several minutes. Anyone planning to take the 517 is now at least 45 minutes late to work. With the RTO orders, this kind of repeated delays and cancellations and poor comms will drive riders away.

Interesting. The signs on the track say that @mtamaryland train 517 has departed. Even though it hasn’t arrived yet, is nowhere in sight and the platform is full of waiting passengers.
