@Laurenc86830095@GBPolitcs@Telegraph It’s not really that I’d feel guilty about lying to the police (although I probably would); it’s the fact that the lie is a total waste of time. There was no way at all that they weren’t going to be immediately discovered in the lies. There was no chance of getting away with it.
@Trailer_Swift69 We didn’t have navel having miserable ptsd introspection for Superman.
But when it’s a woman, apparently that is what we should expect.
Tedious stereotyping along with all the other stuff.
I want to be entertained, not trained.
@tesssummers98 Starmer pretends to care about everything he claims to care about.
Generally speaking every politician pretends to care. They don’t get elected if they don’t.
Femi keeps claiming that his own grievances are ‘proof’ when nothing at all is proven because it’s just his opinion.
Babbling imbecile. #radio2#jeremyvine
@AndrewHWestern This sounds very like Zac P when he said there was no place for people with views he didn’t approve of in society.
Have you heard of representative democracy?
It used to be a thing. Perhaps you would prefer the Chinese model, and we could save money on voting, manifestos etc.
@RyanH1189@TalkTV@Matt_VickersMP@jkyleofficial The police who were meant to protect the victim, Henry Nowak, instead did not treat or adequately check his injuries, cuffed him, believed his attacker’s cries of racism immediately, dragged him over gravel and read him his rights while he was dying.
Why? Systemic racism.
@DrunkOnSymbols@GBNEWS This situation is really crystallising the stark difference in approaches from NGOs, politicians and the great and good.
The hypocrisy is writ large and impossible to ignore. There’s also only one explanation for it.
Nearly 6 years after Eric Garner uttered ‘I can’t breathe’ as he was killed, police still don’t seem to have learned to listen to a person's call for help. George Floyd's life mattered. The lives of Garner, Michael Brown, Akai Gurley, Tamir Rice, Breonna Taylor & more did too.
@GBPolitcs@gxeki Condemn what?
I bet what shabana wants us to condemn is different from what everyone thinks should be condemned.
And we’re entitled to comment (today anyway).
@SVPhillimore Yes. Photographs don’t have sexes. Photographs don’t assault women in their safe spaces, take their sports titles, or intrude in their prisons. Photographs haven’t ever wanked in toilets for the opposite sex to fulfil a fetish.
