@DerrickSimpson_ The tall towers of little Italy should actually be in the core; Lansdowne should not exist for its killing the Market; and create a park in Lowertown and then remove all height and density restrictions for the area.
@TMLewin@papuniu80 You guys are running a masterclass on how to ruin what was a loyal international customer following (in my case loyal over 3 decades). Forget about the digital age and learn to use the post!
@DaveLikesBikes Repeatedly, safety and circulation are compromised for the benefit of free parking for construction workerโs personal vehicles. On Adelaide, the busiest of streets, all these cars are sitting in what would normally be a no stopping zone.
@donnelly_b@visitONroute It seems impossible and then the next one is just like the last. I couldnโt imagine an Esso dude keeping that machine functioning for more than a day.
@donnelly_b I guess I missed the word exceptional. Open streets MTL style. Encourage preservation of our high streets by limiting development there and increasing it everywhere else. Bring commercial into the inner neighbourhoods. Reduce transits fares dramatically.
@donnelly_b Eliminate LTT, reduce dev charges, increase property tax to make up the shortfall, increase active transit infra, make right hand turns on red illegalโฆ and Iโm just getting started.
@MarketUrbanism Would be interesting to know who the end users are. In urban Toronto, lots of self-storage is utilized by small businesses who handle their own last mile shipping or services such a plumbers who need to store supplies. Not all bad. Fugly building.
