Was anyone else on the @GreyhoundBus that drove onto the Closed Road in Burlington WA that attempted to drive through the flooded street then ended up in the ditch? My mom was on that bus and all of her belongings are waterlogged/destroyed.
@notdvorwak@GreyhoundBus She was driven there and waited at the Greyhound Seattle Station until they brought the luggage from Renton where the bus was towed to. The luggage was sopping wet.
@JesseKIRO7 can you help me with Greyhound bus? There were 30 passengers and I am in contact with some of them. Greyhound is denying refunds and not reachable regarding luggage retrieval/delivery they promised to us. We need help!
Skagit County, Burlington - Bus opted to pass the large “Road Closed” sign and flood waters carried the bus into the ditch. SR 11 and Sam Bell Rd.
Bus was full but no injuries.
@6hoursorless@GreyhoundBus I was told no for a refund by them initially. Then after some back and forth, they offered $25 for a future ride. Maybe there is room for some reasonable offer from their side for you too.
@6hoursorless@GreyhoundBus Whoops, i meant to cut out the top part and give you the phone # if you didn’t already have it. Greyhound stranded 30 people in the middle of nowhere and didn’t give them a refund and destroyed their luggage
@6hoursorless@GreyhoundBus I am only trying to help you as greyhound is useless. If you used your credit card, try to get a refund through them by disputing the charge. They drove my mom into a ditch for $70 and offered her $25 for a future ride. They are horrible
@GreyhoundBus “In reference to your request, we would like to offer you an Electronic Travel Voucher in the amount of $25.00.” So you are saying you are going to give $25 for a future ride for a ride that costed $70 and drove into a ditch? Is this a joke?
@GreyhoundBus my mom’s belongings are destroyed. She needs compensation for her laptop and for the entire contents of her suitcase, including the suitcase itself.

I tried to get a refund for my mom being driven into the ditch:
In reference to your request, we would like to offer you an Electronic Travel Voucher in the amount of $25.00. This voucher can be applied toward your next purchase of a @GreyhoundBus ticket
@GreyhoundBus thanks for counter-offering $25 off of my mom’s next ride with you instead of a refund. I already know how to contact you now, so don’t bother pasting your auto-response message.
In response to my request for a $70 refund, @GreyhoundBus offered my mom $25 on her next ride with you after they drove her onto a closed road and into a river then into a ditch. Her luggage is destroyed. Horrible customer service.
