St Anne’s Church, Over Haddon, Derbyshire. Internal lime plasterwork repairs. We removed some damp areas of gypsum plaster last year and have allowed the walls to dry out before undertaking the repair work.#derbyshire #conservation #lime

Lime rendering work almost complete now on this grade 2 listed farm house. Had a few delays due to the non stop rain but it’s almost ready for a few coats of Hot lime wash #lime #derbyshire #conservation

@WhitacreBespoke @LostMarbleBrick Hi Adam. Yes mate it’s an interesting one. Lovely coursed gritstone beneath all the layers of paint on the interior. Lots of cement pointing to remove but it will look very nice when finished.

Amber Mill, Oakerthorpe, Derbyshire. Former mustard mill. Sensitive removal of paint from interior stonework using Steam. Followed by extensive lime repointing and masonry repair and replacement work.

External lime rendering job well underway. Cement render removed, brickwork repairs completed now on with 3 coat of lime render and a hot lime wash finish.

Plaster floors and ceilings reinstated onto reed.

@shire_surveyors It’s a gypsum plaster floor. Common throughout the East Midlands. Gypsum based plaster mix laid onto reed or lath that’s attached to the top of the floor joists.
