@WhitacreBespoke @LostMarbleBrick Hi Adam. Yes mate it’s an interesting one. Lovely coursed gritstone beneath all the layers of paint on the interior. Lots of cement pointing to remove but it will look very nice when finished.
Amber Mill, Oakerthorpe, Derbyshire. Former mustard mill. Sensitive removal of paint from interior stonework using Steam. Followed by extensive lime repointing and masonry repair and replacement work.
External lime rendering job well underway. Cement render removed, brickwork repairs completed now on with 3 coat of lime render and a hot lime wash finish.
@shire_surveyors Very hard to price without looking at properly. Whilst Cracks in the floor are fairly common they can be caused by a variety of reasons. Drop me a message if you want any more info. Cheers Jamie
@shire_surveyors It’s a gypsum plaster floor. Common throughout the East Midlands. Gypsum based plaster mix laid onto reed or lath that’s attached to the top of the floor joists.
