Elizabeth Warren and Elon's haters say Elon is rich because of government contracts. Wrong.
70% of SpaceX's revenue comes from Starlink, Elon's satellite Internet service.
It is true NASA subcontracts with SpaceX for its rocket launches because Elon can launch rockets into space for one-quarter of the cost of anyone else . . . because Elon and his team invented reusable rockets.
The Biden Regime decided not to use SpaceX for political reasons -- decided to use Boeing to carry astronauts to the space station. But Boeing was unable to get the astronauts back to earth.
The astronauts were stranded at the space station for nearly a year.
Elon had to rescue the astronauts.
Because Elon is able to put up satellites so cheaply, 70% of the working satellites currently orbiting earth are from SpaceX.
Jeff Bezos is also trying to launch rockets into space.
His rockets mostly just blow up on the launch pad -- because launching rockets into space is hard.
America's space program was dead -- until Elon came along and built his own space program at his risk.
Elon also pioneered solar powered energy storage for electric power grids -- because the sun provides limitless, free, clean energy. This is a Tesla product that is primarily purchased by governments.
Elon also has the Boring Company, which aims to solve the urban traffic congestion problem by boring earthquake-proof flexible tunnels under cities.
Obviously, these can only be purchased by governments.
So, yes, some of Elon's business (a small fraction) has come from government contracts.
But Elon is rich because he focuses on solving the world's most important problems.
Elon's company Tesla is dedicated to transitioning the world to unlimited, free, clean, sustainable energy primarily by using the nuclear reactor in the sky called the Sun that is a source of unlimited free energy.
The sun provides the power, the batteries the storage. That's Elon's vision.
Also, Elon is not trying to transition the world away from fossil fuel use by force of government.
He is doing it by creating better products. Teslas are objectively superior and more cost-effective cars -- which is why the Tesla Model Y is now the bestselling car in the world.
Liberals used to love Elon because of Tesla's mission -- to transition the world to clean energy.
But now they hate Elon because he moved from being a Democrat to being a Republican. So Democrats organized terrorist attacks on Tesla dealerships and on Tesla owners.
Elon also has a company called Neuralink, which is solving wiring problems in the brain so that blind people can see, paraplegics can walk, and mental illness (such as bipolar disorder, depression, schizophrenia) can be solved.
Elon lives very modestly. He doesn't have a mansion.
The rumor is he doesn't even have a home.
All of his capital is tied up in his companies. His trillion-dollar net worth is only on paper, in the form of the stock he owns in his companies.
He's only worth $1.2 TRILLION on paper because his investors say he's worth this. The market says he's worth this.
In all, Elon's companies provide jobs to more than 160,000 people.
If you count all the companies that do business with Elon's companies (battery makers, chip makers, etc), Elon provides exponentially more jobs than this.
On the day SpaceX went public, 4,400 SpaceX employees became millionaires because of stock they owned in SpaceX. These new millionaire SpaceX employees include janitors, cafeteria workers, groundskeepers.
Elizabeth Warren and Democrats think this is horrible -- because Elon is showing that the American Dream is still alive and well in America.
Elizabeth Warren and today's Democrat Party openly hate America -- openly hope America loses to Iran.
Elon arrived here as an immigrant from Africa with nothing -- a few dollars in his pocket -- and then built all this.
In 1995, he created Zip2, which was an early online mapping company and city guide. When he and his partners/investors sold this to Compaq in 1999, Elon got $22 Million.
He then co-founded PayPal in 1999-2000. He and his partners/investors sold PayPal to eBay in 2004 for $1.5 BILLION. Elon's share from the sale was $180 MILLION.
He then found SpaceX in 2002, investing $100 MILLION of his own money -- pretty much risked his entire fortune on this enterprise. When I read about this, I thought this project had a near-zero chance of success. Who starts their own space exploration company?
Two years later, he also acquired a small company called Tesla in 2004. He invested $70 MILLION of his own money in this. Who in their right might decides to try to replace the existing fossil-fuel auto industry with battery-powered cars when the battery technology did even yet exist?
But almost every venture Elon tries works, spectacularly.
People invest in Elon because he makes money for those who invest in Elon over the long-term.
Would you rather invest your money in Elon, who will multiply your money because he knows how to use capital productively and efficiently . . . or in government, which will just use your money to finance more Somali fraud and more corruption?
Elon does not wake up each day and think: "How big of a yacht can I buy? How big of a mansion can I buy?"
Elon works 100 hours a week.
He thinks about increasing his rocket launch schedule so that he can colonize Mars in his lifetime . . . because his #1 goal in life is to transform humans into an interplanetary species . . . so that human consciousness can be extended beyond the lifespan of the earth.
This sure doesn't sound selfish to me.
Elon does not think about making money. He thinks about solving problems.
The money then just arrives because he's very good at solving problems. So investors voluntarily throw their hard-earned money at Elon.
He doesn't steal money like the government does.
He takes people's money, multiplies it, and returns it to investors -- at multiples of 10x, 20x, 100x.
Thomas Edison also got rich. He gave us the incandescent light bulb, the electric power grid, the phonograph, motion pictures, and more.
Elizabeth Warren thinks it's just horrible for inventors to get rich.
But how many trillions and trillions of dollars in wealth for others did Edison's inventions create?
How many jobs?
Thomas Edison created America's industrial revolution with his inventions.
Elon is today's Thomas Edison.
Elon is also saving America.
Elon saved free speech through his purchase of Twitter for $44 BILLION.
If Elon had not done this, free speech in America would be over. And it's highly doubtful Donald Trump would have won back the Presidency in 2024.
So Elon saved America with his purchase of Twitter.
Elizabeth Warren says Elon should have to pay a 5% wealth tax every year -- which shows how ignorant she is about how economics works.
Elon has almost no liquid cash sitting around.
His money is tied up in his companies.
If he had to sell 5% of his stock holdings every year to pay this tax, the stock market would crash.
He would have to fire his employees and downsize his businesses.
Why would anyone invest in his businesses or in any enterprise if the government is just going to come in and take 5% of it every year?
But this is how socialists think.
They think economics is a "zero sum" game.
They think Elon's money comes from someone else.
No.
Elon is literally creating wealth for all with his inventions. Elon creates wealth out of his brain.
Elon is now creating an army of AI humanoid robots that he says will take over most manual tasks.
He says that we are reaching a point when work will be optional, and when everyone will have a high income and nice life without working at all.
He calls this Minimum Basic Income -- but at a high level.
People will then be free to work on things they want to work on.
Sounds pretty good to me.
Elon also overcame horrific bullying when he was a kid. He overcame this without harboring resentment toward humanity.
In fact, it appears his primary motivation is to help humanity survive and prosper.
How many jobs has Elizabeth Warren created?
Zero.
How many of the world's most pressing problems has Elizabeth Warren solved?
Zero.
What of value has Elizabeth Warren delivered to the world?
Zero.
What Elizabeth Warren specializes in is stoking ENVY -- which is one of the seven deadly sins.
ENVY is a powerful and highly destructive force.
ENVY powered Communism and the slaughter of hundreds of millions of people during the 20th Century.
ENVY is what powers today's Democrat Party.
@EshaAA33 No! He has provided jobs and his employees are now millionaires. He provides jobs and services! He doesn't have a trillion $ in the bank. Don't think we can say the government has done this for Americans

My Generation Is Blind to the Prosperity Around Us!
I'm sitting in a small coffee shop near Nokomis (Florida) trying to think of what to write about. I scroll through my newsfeed on my phone looking at the latest headlines of presidential candidates calling for policies to "fix" the so-called injustices of capitalism. I put my phone down and continue to look around.
I see people talking freely, working on their MacBook's, ordering food they get in an instant, seeing cars go by outside, and it dawned on me. We live in the most privileged time in the most prosperous nation and we've become completely blind to it.
Vehicles, food, technology, freedom to associate with whom we choose. These things are so ingrained in our American way of life we don't give them a second thought.
We are so well off here in the United States that our poverty line begins 31 times above the global average. Thirty One Times!!!
Virtually no one in the United States is considered poor by global standards. Yet, in a time where we can order a product off Amazon with one click and have it at our doorstep the next day, we are unappreciative, unsatisfied, and ungrateful. ??
Our unappreciation is evident as the popularity of socialist policies among my generation continues to grow. Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez recently said to Newsweek talking about the millennial generation, "An entire generation, which is now becoming one of the largest electorates in America, came of age and never saw American prosperity."
Never saw American prosperity! Let that sink in.
When I first read that statement, I thought to myself, that was quite literally the most entitled and factually illiterate thing I've ever heard in my 26 years on this earth. Many young people agree with her, which is entirely misguided.
My generation is being indoctrinated by a mainstream narrative to actually believe we have never seen prosperity. I know this first hand, I went to college, let's just say I didn't have the popular opinion, but I digress.
Why then, with all of the overwhelming evidence around us, evidence that I can even see sitting at a coffee shop, do we not view this as prosperity? We have people who are dying to get into our country.
People around the world destitute and truly impoverished. Yet, we have a young generation convinced they've never seen prosperity, and as a result, we elect some politicians who are dead set on taking steps towards abolishing capitalism.
Why? The answer is this,?? my generation has only seen prosperity. We have no contrast. We didn't live in the great depression, or live through two world wars, the Korean War, The Vietnam War or we didn't see the rise and fall of socialism and communism.
We don't know what it's like to live without the internet, without cars, without smartphones. We don't have a lack of prosperity problem. We have an entitlement problem, an ungratefulness problem, and it's spreading like a plague."
Dear Senator Hawley,
You have betrayed us……
We thought for sure you were going to help us drain the swamp and carry out the mandates we brought forth when electing Trump.
On Memorial Day 2026, while the rest of America paused to honor the fallen who died defending our freedoms, you chose to gavel in a meaningless pro forma Senate session and then gavel it right back out. A 30 second ritual that accomplished exactly nothing except one thing: deliberately blocking President Trump from making a single recess appointment.
You personally stood in the way of the American people’s mandate.
We voted. We won. We gave President Trump the White House, we gave Republicans the Senate, and we sent a clear message……drain the swamp, confirm the loyalists, and move at warp speed to repair what the last four years destroyed.
Instead, you and the rest of the Senate club decided the dusty old rulebook matters more than the will of the voters who handed you the majority.
By keeping the Senate “technically in session” through sham pro forma meetings, you stripped the President of a constitutional tool specifically designed to bypass obstruction like this.
Do you understand what that means, Senator?
It means qualified America First nominees, judges, ambassadors, agency heads, and military leaders remain stuck in limbo while the same entrenched bureaucrats who sabotaged Trump the first time continue holding power. It means the deep state gets more time to resist, delay, leak, obstruct, and laugh at the voters who believed change was finally coming.
It means Americans are once again being told their landslide victory was meaningless because the Senate has “traditions.”
You ran on fighting the swamp. You wrote books about it. You raised your fist outside the Capitol with the rest of us.
Now you’re the one holding the gavel that keeps the swamp alive.
We are not disappointed, Senator Hawley.
We are furious.
You didn’t have to take that presiding slot. You didn’t have to participate in the ritual protecting the establishment from the very change Americans demanded. But you did.
Every day those positions remain unfilled is another day the agenda Americans voted for is delayed.
This is not “procedure.”
This is betrayal dressed up in a suit and tie.
The swamp does not drain itself. It requires leaders willing to confront a broken system instead of protecting it under the banner of “tradition.” Right now, you are choosing the institution over the people who elected you.
We expected better from you.
We still want to believe you are not just another suit who talks tough on Fox News and then folds the moment Senate leadership whispers “tradition.”
Prove us wrong.
Demand these pro forma charades end immediately. Demand recess appointments be allowed so President Trump can govern at the speed this moment requires. Stand in that chamber and publicly call out the hypocrisy.
Because if you don’t, the answer to the question “What did Josh Hawley do on Memorial Day 2026?” will be simple:
He helped keep the swamp alive.
We’re watching.
We’re angry.
And we will remember.
Sincerely,
We the Disappointed, Disgusted, and Determined Trump Voters
The American Majority You Were Elected to Serve
Barbara Walters writes:
Unfortunately, many have forgotten and still countless others have never known how Ms. Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country, but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War.
The first part of this is from an F-4E pilot. The pilot's name is Jerry Driscoll, a River Rat. In 1968, the former Commandant of the USAF Survival School was a POW in Ho LoPrison, the "Hanoi Hilton."
Dragged from a stinking cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed, and dressed in clean PJ's, he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "peace activist" the "lenient and humane treatment" he'd received.
He spat at Ms. Fonda, was clubbed, and was dragged away. During the subsequent beating, he fell forward onto the camp commandant 's feet, which sent that officer berserk.
In 1978, the Air Force Colonel still suffered from double vision (which permanently ended his flying career) from the Commandant's frenzied application of a wooden baton.
From 1963-65, Col. Larry Carrigan was in the 47FW/DO (F-4E's). He spent 6 years in the "Hanoi Hilton". . . The first three of which his family only knew he was "missing in action." His wife lived on faith that he was still alive. His group, too, got the cleaned-up, fed and clothed routine in preparation for a "peace delegation" visit.
They, however, had time and devised a plan to get word to the world that they were alive and still survived. Each man secreted a tiny piece of paper, with his Social Security Number on it, in the palm of his hand. When paraded before Ms. Fonda and a cameraman, she walked the line, shaking each man's hand and asking little encouraging snippets like: "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies?" and "Are you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors?" Believing this HAD to be an act, they each palmed her their sliver of paper.
She took them all without missing a beat. . . At the end of the line and once the camera stopped rolling, to the shocked disbelief of the POWs, she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper...
Three men died from the subsequent beatings. Colonel Carrigan was almost number four but he survived, which is the only reason we know of her actions that day.
I was a civilian economic development adviser in Vietnam, and was captured by the North Vietnamese communists in South Vietnam in 1968, and held prisoner for over 5 years.
I spent 27 months in solitary confinement; one year in a cage in Cambodia; and one year in a 'black box' in Hanoi. My North Vietnamese captors deliberately poisoned and murdered a female missionary, a nurse in a leprosarium in Banme Thuot, South Vietnam, whom I buried in the jungle near the Cambodian border. At one time, I weighed only about 90 lbs. (My normal weight is 170 lbs.)
We were Jane Fonda's "war criminals."
When Jane Fonda was in Hanoi, I was asked by the camp communist political officer if I would be willing to meet with her. I said yes, for I wanted to tell her about the real treatment we POWs received. . . and how different it was from the treatment purported by the North Vietnamese, and parroted by her as "humane and lenient."
Because of this, I spent three days on a rocky floor on my knees, with my arms outstretched with a large steel weight placed on my hands, and beaten with a bamboo cane.
I had the opportunity to meet with Jane Fonda soon after I was released. I asked her if she would be willing to debate me on TV. She never did answer me.
These first-hand experiences do not exemplify someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women." Lest we forget. . . "100 Years of Great Women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots.
There are few things I have strong visceral reactions to, but Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please take the time to forward to as many people as you possibly can. It will eventually end up on her computer, and she needs to know that we will never forget. See less
