In 1954 she tested the Salk polio vaccine and found live virus in the Cutter lots. She showed them the paralyzed monkeys. They ignored her and released it anyway.

Result: tens of thousands of children exposed, hundreds paralyzed, some dead.

A few years later she found a cancer-causing monkey virus (SV40) riding along in the vaccine already given to millions. She spoke up again. They demoted her and took her lab.

She was right both times.
They were rewarded for being wrong.

This is the pattern.

The ones who raise the alarm get crushed.

The ones who push the product keep their funding and their power.

Thank you President Trump @POTUS for speaking the truth and correcting the GOP’s disastrous messaging! I spoke to President Trump about this last week and expressed my concern and distress over the GOP refusing to call these candidates what they actually are: JIHADISTS and COMMUNISTS.

The word “socialist” has no meaning. Jihadist is a much better description of what and who these people are.

One thing I love and respect about President Trump is he always listens to varying perspectives and opinions and he really does LISTEN. That is the sign of a great leader.

In the Oval Office just now, President Trump finally used the word JIHADISTS to describe the Islamic communists who are getting elected all across the country.

REPORTER: “What recommendations do you have for Republicans heading into midterm elections?"

POTUS: “Well, one thing is we have jihadists being elected all over the place. Whether it's communism, jihadism... They're people that have been in many cases failures. They come from other failed countries and they come here and tell us how to run our country..."

It’s time for the rest of the GOP to ditch the word socialist and call these candidates Islamic communists and jihadists.

Rick Rescorla was the head of security for Morgan Stanley in the South Tower on September 11, 2001. A former Army officer, he had long believed the World Trade Center could be attacked, so he made employees practice evacuation drills regularly.

When the North Tower was hit, officials told people in the South Tower to stay put. Rescorla ignored that order. Using a bullhorn, he immediately began guiding 2,700 workers down the stairs to safety.

To keep everyone calm, he sang Cornish songs from his childhood as they escaped. Almost all of Morgan Stanley’s employees survived because of his quick action.

Rescorla went back inside to help others and was last seen just before the tower collapsed. He is remembered as one of the great heroes of 9/11.
