@staygoldengophs @gopherstate Yes. There are some players in the chl who are on two way nhl contracts, they would still be ineligible. Other players get paid, but not that much, and most of what they get is in non-income benefits (housing stipend, etc). With NIL not much argument to exclude them.

@Handsome_Jake_ A vegas cab driver told me his rides to football games are almost all out-of-towners, but his rides to hockey games are mostly in-towners, with some travelers. I think it probably matters if a) the home team is good and b) it's a new vs relocated franchise
