That narrative has been repeated so often that people now treat it as established fact.

It isn’t what the evidence showed.

Lindsay was prescribed 13 different psychiatric medications over several months. That does NOT mean she was taking 13 medications simultaneously. The prosecution’s evidence indicated roughly 2–3 at a time.

Then there’s the actual pill inventory presented at trial:
💊 Zoloft: 30 prescribed — 23 remained
💊 Ativan: 30 prescribed — 24 remained
💊 Buspirone: 30 prescribed — 28 remained
💊 Hydroxyzine: 30 prescribed — 27 remained
💊 Buspirone refill: 30 prescribed — ALL 30 remained
💊 Trazodone: 30 prescribed — 22½ remained

A pill missing from a bottle does not prove it was swallowed. But these bottles certainly do not support the image of a woman dutifully taking a massive cocktail of 13 psychiatric drugs at once.

The trial evidence also showed repeated medication changes, medications stopped shortly after starting them, and prescribed regimens that were not consistently followed.

And this matters even more:
Prosecutors presented evidence that Lindsay disclosed thoughts of harming her children to Patrick and her mother, but not to the mental-health professionals treating her.

Multiple clinicians who actually evaluated her testified that they did not observe psychosis.

Should we scrutinize her medical care? Absolutely.
Fragmented psychiatric care deserves scrutiny.

But doctors cannot accurately evaluate whether medication is working when it isn’t being taken as prescribed. And they cannot properly assess dangerous symptoms they aren’t being told about.

There were victims in this case.
Their names were Cora, Dawson and Callan.

Before repeating that Lindsay was “on 13 medications” and was failed by everyone around her, look at what was actually presented in court.

Prescribed is not the same as taken.
Thirteen over months is not thirteen at once.
And a rumor on social media is NOT evidence.
