@gpgomez Oh, I agree. But it would be daunting to quit a job into a tech job market like this one. Some people may gamble on Twitter pulling through, and stay.

@gpgomez Right now most of the major tech companies have hiring freezes and many are actively laying off staff, so good SW engineering jobs are hard to find. So maybe not such an easy choice.

@gpgomez Almost certainly bugs, or maintenance glitches, not malicious activity. Same with reply counts not matching visible replies. The company has lost most of the people who knew how to keep it working. I'm astonished it hasn't had widespread outages yet.
