I love being able to ride @waymo in Nashville. My friends think I work for them as much as I hype them up. The cars are clean, they arrive on time, the ability to control the music and temp from the app is excellent. It’s also a much safer alternative for my female friends late at night.
Nashville: the ride that never sleeps is now available to all. 🚘✨ Download the Waymo app to book a fully autonomous ride right away — no invite code required.
@tiadobi@BoozeyBeauty Right like seems to me the best answer is just send the subponea to military and they can produce him when they produce him… looks like only person gonna actually get money is the hoards of lawyers
@tiadobi@BoozeyBeauty A state court judge probably can’t compel the army to comply. Also, I’ve been trying to figure out about service members civil relief act, it would seem to apply. I’m actually more interested in this specific issue than I am with all of the lawsuits combined.
A good example of predictive AI from the Waymo Driver: in a split second, it predicted an initial crash of human-driven cars in the next lane, anticipated a secondary collision, and proactively shifted lanes — all while managing its distance from the vehicles around it.
The biggest outrage in yesterday’s SCOTUS decision from Alabama is that it impacts a primary election that’s just a week away. This is the Court that has repeatedly declined to protect minority voters’ rights when it’s “too close” to an election.
