Even usually a more relaxed arenas in Madrid and Munich are full of tension and emotion in these EuroLeague play in games.
It's the most exciting part of EuroLeague season. Let's enjoy it because it's over in 3-4 weeks
Couldn't agree more. Final fours are a thing of a past. Usually it does not reflect the real best team of the season, it makes zero sense after 34 (and soon to be 38) regular season games and it creates a bogus illusion of somehow helping smaller teams
Dimitris Itoudis advocates for the EuroLeague to replace its Final Four format with a full playoff series 🗣️
Which format do you prefer: Final Four or playoff series? 🤔
@Miroslav_D7 in the past you didn't play 34 or 38 regular season games.
and you simply cannot compare that with NCAA. simply cannot. their whole tournament is one and done. the bracket is done by a committee. final four is played in a football stadium. and it generates A TON of money
oh, and from a media standpoint - you get more stories with more games. For 3 years we've been running our international website, we've seen WAAAY bigger engagement during quarterfinal series compared to final 4.
and it makes ZERO sense for teams to lose ticket revenue. SMH
feels like X is muting events in Belgrade. I didn't get anything about it even from the accounts I follow or interact.
If you search 'Belgrade' you'll get posts with tons of interactions but with a reach under 1M, which is absurd.
Who could've thought that Musk would do that
Ukrainian journalist Viktoria Roshchyna was brutally tortured in Russian captivity, an investigation by @Slidstvo_info reveals. She was imprisoned without charges and subjected to horrific abuse.

Well, sure—Zelensky could have found a better way to tiptoe around Trump and Vance.
Of course, he made mistakes. And naturally, every single one of us on Twitter would have handled the situation far bettter.
But the real problem is this: when you're subjected to a setup like this—when every step you take is met with a grenade contemptuously tossed at your feet—one of them is bound to knock you down. And the moment it does, they’ll rush in, shovels in hand, eager to finish you off.
Everything could have proceeded normally—both sides issuing standard statements from their respective viewpoints, signing an agreement, and then going their separate ways.
I don't recall Macron ever facing such obstruction simply because, in his remarkable audacity, he dared to point out that Europe is providing more assistance and that it's given without any compensation.
This was never about a fair, reasonable bilateral meeting or the signing of agreements. It was about engineering a scandal at the first convenient opportunity, deliberately derailing the talks, and publicly humiliating Zelensky in front of the cameras.
Twitter used to be something great, an online public square for the world to share different stories and opinions.
X is something to be avoided. False narratives repeated by 1000s of accounts (where has community notes gone, btw?) and the world view Elon Musk wants to promote
I absolutely love this Pierre Mauroy stadium for a basketball game. It was magic in Eurobasket 2015, it's even more so now. 27k capacity, soldout for a 11 o'clock game!
@barsa_lt taisyklės arenose žurnalistams. negali absoliučiai nieko filmuoti arenos viduje. visiškai nieko - nei apšilimo, nei postgame, nei žiūrovų. kaip žiūrovas gali, kaip žurnalistas ne.
nuoširdžiai nesuprantu, kodėl tada apskritai verta vykti į tokius renginius
