Every politician should be required to spend one day in an elementary school, one day in a middle school, and one day in a high school before they can say what teachers can or can’t do.
And shadow during that day the principal, teachers, cafeteria, arts, nurse, librarian, etc.
No matter how different next year looks, relationships and mental health will always be the most important factors for student success. 🙌

You don’t have to be an administrator, grade level chair, or department head to be a leader in you school. Your title doesn’t matter. You just need to care about making it better.
Passion and commitment can transform any culture.
When we hit that wall, sometimes courage looks like scaling it or breaking through it. AND, sometimes courage is building a fort against the wall and taking a nap.
Hard days are real because this is hard.
