@im_PULSE@Nrg8000 If you look at the history of humankind, he's got a point about the way the world works. I don't see him as much on twitter anymore.
I don't know where he's coming from, in reference to the 'just give up' spin.
⚡️Mariupol City Council calls for help as residents begin to die from starvation.
More and more people are left without any food while multiple attempts to create humanitarian corridors and to provide aid have failed as Russian troops continue to violate ceasefire agreements.

Remember when we had a reasonable person running the country?
It now feels like mythology that the leader of the free world could string a few sentences together, much less on the fly...
with oil already at decades low $20, the talk is negative prices as storage fills up.
But so many ways to change the game:
* $20 tariff on foreign oil
* Supply destruction can always go faster than you think
* storage innovation
* Fed can always buy futures

Many of these already on the #bailout table. But the helicopter money won't be enough to deal with housing costs. Close that circuit from the top and make the landlords whole (don't rely on the banks to follow @BankofAmerica example). #coronavirus#mortgageholiday
7) MBS holders take the hit from deferred mortgage payments. (If there are big knock-ons, industry lobbyists will make them known and maybe you need one more program.)
8) Similar ~0% interest program for small business (but not tied to full revenues since they cut employees)

6) Special ~0% interest / 30 year amortizing loans to landlords equivalent to 1/4 of the rental income claimed last year (i.e. 90 days rent). Fed backs in full. Let the banks / Amex / business- credit providers administer (and support themselves a bit.)

Rough plan to support economy during #coronavirus#mortgageholiday
1) 90-day freeze on all debt payments. No mortgage, no rent, no auto, no credit cards. (And no interest accruing.)
2) double (or even 3x 4x) unemployment benefits.

... As long as the testing bandwidth is increasing slower than the growth rate of the virus and there are plenty of the cases, the numbers will go up. All we are learning about is our testing capacity. Not much additional information.

Florida:
1) a week+ behind other big population centers.
2) spring break is an accelerant
3) retirement communities = susceptible density, symptoms will show faster
An explosion there (or lack) next week more informative than the testing ...

@JoeBiden seems like a meaningless commitment given that most will use up their cash trying to alive ...
instead: make CEOs put the lion's share of the cash they've made over the past decade & future compensation back into their firms -- precondition of any bailout.
