“All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.”
Titus 1:15 NET

A lot of people are like Job's friends in the Bible.
You must let no unwholesome word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for the building up of the one in need, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29 NET
“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:”
2 Timothy 3:16 KJV

“Make it your aim to live a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to earn your own living, just as we told you before.”

Omo, Lagos is big but we are too choked in the middle, that’s why we feel it’s small.
I went to an area today inside Ikorodu, after Gberigbe. The place is known as Igbalu. Very far deep in Ikorodu. You will think you are in a village around Okitipupa. The houses looked like they were built in the 40s
I kept looking around for any signboard reading “This way to Ijebu Ishara”. An area with little to no government impact. The roads are terrible. What am i sayin? Very terrible. The layouts are bizarre and land is going for about 3m per plot. O ga.
From the moment we drove off Ijede Road around Ewu Elepe into Gberigbe road, oh my God. I was wowed with the level of road dilapidation. This Gberigbe is a place people are buying 7m Naira land without access road o. Their prayers are always “one day, government will remember us”. I doubt any government has ever remembered them. Most of them living in that side working in Lagos highbrows don’t go home everyday. You just can’t. The roads will kill you.
The development in Ikorodu axis is nothing to write home about. It’s an eyesore in general. I doubt Ikorodu was on the Lagos model city plan in the 70s. Maybe an area that was planned for farming but people started buying for residential purpose.
I now understand why that man on Radio Lagos is always getting calls from Gberigbe people to help them beg the government. Dem don beg tire.
Ki Olorun shaanu wa.
Lord, thank you that you are with me and watch over me wherever I go. Help me to be counted amongst those forceful people enjoying the exhilaration, excitement and challenge of a life spent following Jesus.
I hope no parents emulate Isaac and Rebekah's unfair parenting style. My mother always emphasized treating all children equally and avoiding favouritism to prevent sibling rivalry. That's the right way to nurture a harmonious environment in the children. #BibleStudy#gensis
What if, Isaac didn't like Rebekah or Vice versa, what would have happened? Will they force them to still marry each other or will they let them go their separate ways? Just thinking out loud.
Here is Rebekah before you; take her and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as the Lord has spoken.
Genesis 24:51 NKJV
That was fast😅, enipe 🤣take her ke, not our world of today😀. The two families must meet first, do a background check on the family and so forth.
Lord, I see the vastness, beauty and success of your creation and proclaim: ‘O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!’ (Psalm 8:9).
