@jowyang I once had a colleague tell me that most people have peaked on their career track by age 45. Interesting that life just keeps feeling better after that!(and presumably feels worse while chasing that particular goal)
An article 30 years ago: if you’re a CEO, call your own company regularly to see how long you can tolerate your own service experience. We need a booster shot.
@jowyang I don’t think it will be possible for decades. Each human body is its own miraculous combination of chemistry. Even with known markers, outcomes differ dramatically. That said, I don’t want this answer years in advance. Maybe 3 years max. Enough time to do what must be done.
@jowyang Different nations are in different stages of development or even their version of enlightenment. Maturity, socioeconomics, cultural values...they matter a great deal. Nations decide on trade-offs in different ways. What is valued, what is good for the “common good”, etc.
@jowyang But the storage gets pretty full, so access takes longer...sort of like gluing a few pieces of the rubics cube together...defrag just doesn’t seem to work anymore!
