@Mattxduchak I think addicts won't concentrate in on place, use, and then spill out into the surrounding neighbourhood to cause crime and disorder if there are no injection sites.

Hard to do that when you're placed in recovery care instead of given easier access to drugs.

Free drug handouts - "safe" supply - is what helps creat new addicts.

@Mattxduchak They did get the help they needed, though. Involuntary inpatient treatment that started with several police run-ins/arrests.

What didn't help them whatsoever was giving them of drugs and turning them loose in public.
