Grace, don't do this. This is a sick person openly using drugs in the middle of the day on a play structure built for children, in the heart of our tourism district. This is sadly common in my community and across BC. We all want to help vulnerable people but we also want our business districts and public spaces back. The government you are part of implemented reckless drug decriminalization policies that made this worse, and is dragging its heels on properly implementing policies like mandatory care that would make it better. People have run out of patience, Eby's Trump schtick isn't working, and his sneaky snap election is backfiring. Once your government comes to an end in a few weeks, we will indeed look forward to doing better for people - both those who are struggling, and the community members who are paying the price of your failed approach.
