@SteveMasters7@Zigmanfreud@Adlee7873@LizHabib@Gladwell Dranov testified he talked to McQueary on 2/9/2001. He confirmed the date with contemporaneous records. He did testify he met Schultz approximately 3 months later. But he never testified he talked to Schultz in February. (Gladwell missed this; Ziegler continues to ignore it.)
@Zigmanfreud@Adlee7873@LizHabib Scroll up a few tweets in this thread to find the questions. Or look in the image for a copy. This is 3rd time I've sent you this image.
Your date theory isn't strong. You ignored testimony from Curley & Dranov that refute it. And you continue to ignore my questions about it.
@Zigmanfreud@Adlee7873@LizHabib Nearly two months after I ask 4 basic questions, you still refuse to answer them. If your date theory is so bullet-proof, just answer them.
@Zigmanfreud @AJO58150471 @LizHabib Why won’t you address any of my prior questions? Are you even aware of Dranov’s testimony placing the date as 2/9/2001? Why doesn’t Liz express even an iota of curiosity?
@Zigmanfreud @AJO58150471 @Adlee7873@LizHabib Worse, in your 2nd Schultz interview you lie about Schultz's testimony. He never testified he recalled telling Dranov the investigation was ongoing. Your whole date theory is cherry-picked, omitting evidence contrary to it, or lying to support it.
@Zigmanfreud @AJO58150471 @Adlee7873@LizHabib That's a whole bunch of waffling (& ignores Curley's 2+ week delay). The fact remains you are still dodging the question of why you ignored Curley's testimony in your podcast. And you have yet to address the evidence that places Dranov's meeting at the McQueary house on 2/9/2001
@Adlee7873@Zigmanfreud@LizHabib No. I'm only pointing out testimony which places doubt on the date theory. Ziegler has failed to address or acknowledge any of it in 6+ hours of interviews/podcast. All I did was ask him why he ignored it. I could also ask why he's ignored my questions, but that seems obvious.
@Zigmanfreud@LizHabib Schultz bought into your date theory in part because he clearly remembers telling Dranov investigation was ongoing. He said so 4x (1x in 1st interview, 3x in 2nd). But Schultz had testified he had no recollection of this. Why do you think that is? (Spanier trial, 3/22/17, p.470)
@Zigmanfreud@LizHabib You talk about Curley's 2 meetings with Sandusky. You mention Sandusky's confusion at the 1st mtg. Why did you ignore Curley's testimony that Sandusky wanted to check his calendar, did so, & confirmed the 2/9/2001 date in their 2nd mtg? (Spanier trial, 3/22/2017, p.358, 389-390)
@JoshShapiroPA You should know not even your prosecutors (Schulte in the opening; Ditka in closing) alleged that Spanier (or Curley, Schultz, Paterno) was advised ‘children were being sexually abused'. In fact, Ditka said it didn't matter if McQueary said he saw sex abuse or not.
Words Matter
@Zenophile@penn_state@FactFreeh My biggest issue? Penn State's efforts to educate the public on how child molesters fool people has been essentially non-existent. Stopping molesters starts with education, not “improving policies”.
@Zenophile@penn_state@FactFreeh Based on Penn State's actions, their singular focus since late 2011 has been tempering public outrage (while keeping the football money train on the tracks). Improvement of policies was simply a necessary part of that. And today, the focus is tempering outrage of Penn Staters.
