Another coach stepping down for an opportunity outside of wrestling, as Michigan announces Assistant Coach Josh Churella will be stepping aside.

Churella’s impact on Michigan wrestling spans more than two decades. From a Michigan wrestler to a CKWC athlete, to a longtime coach, he’s been deeply woven into the fabric of wrestling in Ann Arbor for 23 years.

@adamtirapelle Would have to agree. Lots of ‘action’ calls this past weekend when guys were getting shot off the mat. Was consistently a stall call all season.

@KINGS1973 @RAFWrestlingUSA I know they have the 3 periods so obviously different there, seems like everything else is the same but not sure. It would explain why they gave JO the 2 points after the match because push outs on knees are a pt as of a month or so ago according to UWW rules.
