Final in Worcester: Wisconsin 5, Dartmouth 1
The Badgers' five-game NCAA Tournament losing streak is over thanks to a four-goal third period launched by Jack Horbach's go-ahead score. Wisconsin plays Michigan State on Saturday for a spot in the Frozen Four.
No. 11 Wisconsin scored four goals in the third period โ three of them assisted by Weston Knox โ to reach 20 wins on the season with a 7-3 victory at No. 6 Penn State.
An NHL team wearing an entire NFL uniform, let alone one of the greatest uniforms in NFL history, is the coolest pregame entrance Iโve ever seen
Idk how the Lightning lose this game

NCAA Tournament Frozen Four
After their thrilling 3OT win over Cornell, the Badgers would draw eastern powerhouse Maine in the semifinals. Showing no signs of a hangover, the Badgers would roll to a 5-2 win, setting up a chance at a title against Boston College.
Wisconsin goalie Brian Elliott would put on yet another masterclass, allowing just 1 goal on 22 shots against one of the nations best offenses. The Eagles would jump out to a one goal lead after one period, but Robbie Earl would tie it up just over a minute into the second frame.
The score would stay knotted one apiece through the 2nd and midway through the 3rd period, despite both teams having multiple powerplays and scoring chances. Then, with just over 10 minutes to play, the Badgers powerplay unit would finally come through as Joe Pavelski found Tom Gilbert between the circles and Gilbert would sneak one by Eagle goaltender Cory Schneider. From that point on, the Badgers would hold on for dear life.
Boston College had a couple prime scoring chances turned away by Elliott. With under 30 seconds and an empty net, they'd put multiple shots and goal and come within an inch of tying it up, but the shot would go off the post and out as time expired (Elliott maintains to this day that he had the angle on it๐). The Badgers would hold on and earn their 6th national title.
I can't really put into words how white knucke the ending was, so you'll just have to see for yourself:

Indiana had the all time lowest winning percentage in cfb history when Curt Cignetti arrived. When he got on the mic at Assembly Hall and started saying everyone in the B1G sucked, I thought theyโd hired a crazy man.
Nope.
THIS is crazy. Incredible turnaround. Salute Hoosiers
"It was just an incredible weekend for us," Mike Hastings said after the Badgers completed a road sweep of No. 1 Michigan State with an overtime win capped by an impressive Ben Dexheimer goal.
Lots to discuss in the things that stood out.

Final in East Lansing: No. 7 Wisconsin 5, No. 1 Michigan State 4
The Badgers overcame a 2-0 deficit with a four-goal second period to improve to 10-2-2 against the No. 1 team (USCHO era) when UW also is ranked in the top 10.
Mike Hastings wanted the Badgers to own what happened in their first loss, learn from it and move on. Wisconsin checked all the boxes in a big win at No. 2 Michigan.
Here's what stood out:
