BTS's Jimin's song 'Like Crazy' is continuing its success in the first half of 2023, hitting the US market and maintaining its 15-week consecutive charting on Billboard.

According to chart data, Jimin's 'Like Crazy' recorded 289,000 downloads in the first half of 2023, making it one the best-selling downloads in the US.

Following Miley Cyrus's 'Flowers,' Jimin rose to the 2nd spot, surpassing prominent pop stars representing the US such as Morgan Wallen and Beyoncé, making him the only Asian singer in the top 10, both as a group and solo artist.

Furthermore, 'Like Crazy,' one of the three songs that debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this year, secured the 7th position on the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart on the 15th of July 2023, setting a record of 11 weeks on the chart, including the most number 1 positions among Korean solo songs in the past 10 years, shining as the most successful K-pop solo artist of the year.

On the 'Global 200' chart, which debuted at 2nd place with the highest sales ever for a Korean solo artist, it rose five spots
from the previous week to rank 40th. Similarly, on the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart, it climbed nine steps to reach 24th place, marking the highest rank for a Korean solo artist in both categories for 15 consecutive weeks.

The album 'FACE,' which includes 'Like Crazy,' secured the 11th position on the 'World Albums' chart, setting a record for the highest rank among Korean solo albums for 15 weeks on the chart, including 4 consecutive weeks at number 1, and also maintained its reign on the 'Top Album Sales' chart at 82nd place and the 'Top Current Album Sales' chart at 47th place for 15 weeks.

The movie 'Fast & Furious 10' OST, 'Angel Pt.1,' in which Jimin participated, rose to 35th place on the 'Pop Airplay' chart, charting for 5 consecutive weeks. It also performed impressively on the 'Global 200' chart at 72nd place and the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart at 51st place for 7 weeks, along with 'Like Crazy,' making Jimin the only artist to have two songs on both charts.

Without large collaborations or massive radio promotions, Jimin achieved an unprecedented feat of reaching the top of the 'Hot 100' with authentic music that reflects his own story. He continues to make history and walk the path of a pioneer as a Korean solo artist.

I just watched the whole thing again and I’m still amazed by how Jimin handled himself in an interview, his eyes contact, body language and the way he spoke English approx 85%…..
