10 Reasons Why I Hate the Evil of Communism

1. It is anti-Christian because it seeks to replace God, it hates the Bible, and it hates the biblical principles of freedom, creating value, owning property, and growing businesses.

2. It stokes envy of those who have more, which violates the 10th commandment against covetousness, and which was the temptation that caused the fall of Satan and Adam, which had the single greatest effect of devastation on the human race.

3. It destroys prosperity because it destroys the incentives to create value, own property, and grow businesses, which are the economic engines of a society.

4. It must become tyrannical because people will not allow the confiscation of their guns, homes, businesses, and farms except by a force that is greater than them.

5. It is based on the false spiritual idea of atheism and that man’s ideas are superior to God’s. They are not.

6. It is based on the false economic idea that the human economic problem is the distribution of wealth. It's not. It’s the creation of wealth.

7. It is based on the false political idea that tyranny, not freedom, creates human flourishing.

8. Historically, for the last 125 years, it has been the largest force of mass murder. Here are the numbers (from the Cato Institute):

a. Communist China: 65 million
b. Soviet Russia: 60 million
c. Cambodia: 2 million
d. North Korea: 2 million
e. Cuba, Venezuela, Vietnam, Ethiopia, Afghanistan, Eastern Europe: 1.7 million.

9. Communist nations must build walls around themselves to keep their people from leaving, and free nations must build walls to keep people from illegal entry.

10. No communist country has created sustainable human flourishing. Not one.
