Born January 20, 2009, Mantis was the culmination of over two years of writing, arranging & recording. Shifting away from the road-tested approach of previous records, these compositions were meticulously built from the ground up in the studio. It also marked our most ambitious campaign rollout to date, with multiple tiers of downloadable bonus goodies unlocked as more & more fans joined the ride. 

This audio teaser was the first taste of the album that we shared back in fall of 2008. This retrospective pairs that clip with album imagery, tracking shots and various notes sketched during the process.  We hope you enjoy a peek into the time capsule.
