Stacey King a few weeks ago on announcing:
“It’s a fun job, it never seems like work for me. Every night I go to work, win, lose or draw, I’m having fun… one thing I’ve always tried was if you couldn’t come to a Bulls game, you’re entertained on TV.”
This is a message I think everyone needs for their life.
The whole 82-0 phenomenon reinforces that whole bit about how the only thing a bunch of dudes need in order to have a good time is to sit around announcing the names of a bunch of old athletes.
I know it’s become pretty cliche and cringey to talk about at this point but if you’re under like 25 I cannot stress enough how one time Obama wore a tan suit and people spent a week arguing over whether or not it was demeaning to the Oval Office and they were serious about it.
Raise your hand if, as you’ve gotten older and heard songs with more mature ears, you’ve been like “Now why them people let me listen to this when I was a mere child???”
For Day 2 of the #BlackMusicMonthChallenge, share a song you ain’t have no business knowing as a young’un.
